Kia EV6 Early Deliveries underway

Ok, so I just called a Dealer in Phoenix that has a First Edition in stock, he said it was $10K above MSRP and any other EV6 they have on the lot is at $7,000 above MSRP. When you compere the ev6 to a Rivian R1S Launch Edition at those prices I will take the Rivian any day of the week. And they say that the dealership model protects the Customer??

It's not a markup. It's a "market adjustment." lol

I will not put thier name but I will say its in Peoria. But he did say that all the dealers are "Market Adjusting" the same.

Really this is why ev adoption is low in the US our dealer networks!! if they can t make it in service they want to make it on the front end.

I bought a 1st edition yesterday, sitting on the lot in Beaverton OR. I had to pay $3500 over MSRP, I might have been able to get a little better if I would have opted for non FE GT line model. Very fun to drive. Now what to do with my April/May R1T LE order ?

Boss did indeed get it for MSRP. Great color and the seats are even more comfortable than my wife's Stinger GT. This thing has the potential to give Tesla a run for their money.

It'd be nice if Kia could make their configurator live online so we can see the differences in options between the Wind and GT-Line. I may opt for the Wind and I do love that the Kia and the Genesis versions have physical buttons for the heated seats/steering wheel, etc. The Ioniq doesn't have that and you have to turn them on through the touchscreen. I'm really curious to see what Genesis lists the GV60 for and you may be able to get those easier without ADM since it's a more 'luxury option', but we'll see.

Yes. The GT model will be even faster, because for some reason the AWD version isn’t fast enough

Let me think KIA EV6 GT Line for $80,925 or Wait for my Rivian R1S at $77,500, this is easy, except for the waiting!!

I really feel like this is the time Rivian, Lucid, Tesla and other EV makers need to go after the states and show the reality of “how dealers look out for the Consumer” and how the direct model protects the consumers, against the market adjustments.

Kia is not the only one, I looked at a Toyota Venza Hybrid it had a 5k markup and a RAV 4 Prime had a 15,000 market adjustment.
I was told by the dealer I would get more on my trade so it would not be too bad.

I’m surprised he did not try to sell you on adding a year to the payment and it would be the same…?
