It seems like if you ever fail to manually disengage at a traffic circle or toll booth fast enough, it will the refuse to reengage for the remainder of the trip. Anyone have any idea on how to fix it without having to stop and shut off car to get it back? I feel like the is a punitive feature, and car is having attitude :).

That is referred to as autonomy jail. If I ignore my Tesla or Rivian and they have to react it will happen. Only corrective action is to pay more attention and react promptly. My vehicles do provide a decent amount of time to react.

Close your trip on the GPS, get everyone out of the Rivian, lock the doors and wait until the lights go out. Then you should be good to go. It is WAY too sensitive. I enjoy it for trips, not worth $50 a month for daily driving.

$50/month?......wow. I did not know they are charging for it, then again, I don't use anything other than cruise control.....I am way old-school to allow a vehicle to drive for me. I know, I know.....I am a boomer and I do boomer stuff and have a boomer attitude.

You actually don't have to shut off the car. Putting the car in Park and then back in Drive will get you out of jail.
