Today, I got my black Vion sunshade for my R1T. Very easy install. There’s a reason they give you extra clips. I had one of mine eject during the installation process and have no idea where it went So far, after one drive,, it looks very nice, seems to fit great, and I’m hoping it helps a bit with the summer heat. Now, I’m just waiting on that cabin air filter lotto win Hmmm, I guess I”m entered in that thing. Who knows

That is an awesome suggestion for the side and rear window shades! Car camping and toddler naps are the perfect reasons for a full blackout setup. We will definitely pass this valuable feedback along to our R&D team to look into. Thanks again for helping us improve!

After being selected as a winner of the carbon air filter, I found that installation of these filters on the R1T is a breeze, taking my time and vacuuming everything prior to and after removal and then the quick installation of your filter in total maybe 5 minutes!! After owning dozens of cars & trucks over the years I have only had one vehicle easier...a 2005 Chrysler 300C.

I’m not sure if it’s possible or not, but I’d like to be entered into the drawing for a gray sunroof cover for my Ocean Coast R1T. Great products and superb responses from Claire certainly brings customers back! Thank you!

I received mine as well.

There are many descriptions on changing the filter but it's so simple on the Rivian compared at least to most Teslas and other cars I'll describe it. Simple pull up the cowl cover; no tools needed.

Slide off the plenum. Notice I'm another victim of Rivian's poor windshield quality. It had a long stress crack and now has a second impact crack. Meanwhile Toyota glass lasts decades of 4wheeling...

Yes besides nasty Los Angles air quality, my Rivian gets plenty of dirt trails and nature where the air is otherwise crystal clear. I had to do some cleanup while in here.

The filter housing tilts out and the OEM one comes out. With only 25K miles I thought I'd keep it as a spare. Well it was pretty packed with debris. Guess I'll toss that.

The Vion filter is nicely pleated and the carbon appears to be embedded in a second layer. Having a Carbon block water filter on my house, I can attest to how well they filter Chlorine and other things from my water to improve the taste. No doubt this will improve air quality over just a pleated filter found in most vehicles.

This sun shade certainly helps to reduce cabin temps in my R1T, depending on the orientation of the truck and the position of the sun. From the driver’s seat it is a great addition. I completely do NOT miss that sunroof. Today, I hopped in the back seat to do something, looked up, and wondered how easy it would be to remove just the back portion, should any rear seat passengers desire a view or more light. It was super easy to take down and reinstall, taking only seconds to remove and a tad longer to reinstall - good option I realize this is not a very long term review, but, so far, it’s Saul Goodman
