Don’t get too excited. My configuration got “locked” back in July of 2021 ? And here I am, truckless

I certainly hope I’m wrong though, and this is a sign that March and beyond will happen!

So for the hell of it I logged into Rivian today and my configuration got locked... Up until last week I was still able to change it.

I emailed my guide two weeks ago and at the time they said my delivery window was still valid.

I think it's my 8th application to them, all have been rejected. I really don't for fun and I do not expect to hear anything.

That will buy Rivian another month or two. Kind of the Rivian way. Nothing is ever imminent. The last year all they have done is make promises that buy them more time. We all waited June to Thanksgiving for an email. They move at a snail's pace. Now they will start locking configs to get us excited and nothing will happen for 2-3 more months.

They should have contacted you before locking your configuration. It makes sense that it is locked close to the build, so this is hopefully a good sign.
