Its not a bad deal at $9K - they must have extra inventory laying around. If you add equal features and paint with ocean coast its like $16K add-on. So $93K for for green or $100K for white interior ($97K with black)

I have Forest Edge on my '23 R1T. It was, and to this day, remains one of my favorite things about the vehicle. For anyone considering it or on the fence, I would absolutely recommend this color. I will personally never buy another vehicle with "boring black or gray" interior again.

Hoping for tan on R2/R3, guess we'll see.

I almost went with forest edge originally but the seat bases door cards and panels below the dash still being black was too jarring for me. The original 4500 upcharge to me wasn’t worth it. At 9k I don’t think many people will do it. At that point you’re starting to get into custom interior prices.

It includes a lot of extras, like the Max Pack, blackout, etc.

IMHO, this is the most fire interior for the R1. I am so happy Rivian is offering it again, yet so, so jelly that they are doing so 10 months after ordering my 2026 R1T

The Forest Edge interior scheme looks interesting. I'm surprised by all of the comments about favoring a sand/light brown interior though. Subaru likes putting beige in their vehicles and it always bugged me. I had to go out of my way to get a dark interior for both of my Foresters. I wondered who was buying these vehicles that wanted to stare at dirt colors while they were driving.
Am I in the minority that is happy with the dark interior of the R2? And before people mention living in a "hot" climate... it gets plenty toasty here in Southern NV and the dark interiors have never been an issue.

Ah well. It just shows that we all have different preferences, tastes, etc. I can respect that, even if I do not understand it.

Love my Forest Edge + Launch Green combo! Waited months for a used one with that combo to pop up. Sad for everyone else that won't be an option this time but glad my combo will become even more rare

I've never cared for blacked out interiors, personally, just not enough contrast. We had the grey interior on my wife's '16 Forester. I had the indigo frost (beige + dark blue) interior on my Ram.

Honestly, with forest edge it was the natural wood tone I loved more than the green but it's grown on me. The new slate sky + walnut interior is my new favorite though!

Yep! No idea why brown interior is such a rare option. I had a dark blue Alfa with brown seats and yellow calipers and got constant complements on it, everywhere I went. There were a handful of model years where you could get emerald green paint with the brown seats and it was ridiculously nice. Really hope R3 is offered with brown interior.

MINI had this interior as well including the thigh bolsters. They called it Malt Brown. Also rare. I love it. It’s kind of retro. The Alpha AC vents are also eerily similar to MINI’s. What year is that?

Thigh bolsters are an underrated feature. Mine was a 2018, sold in 2023.Great vehicle that we still miss!

The Mini color does look similar. Mini makes some of the best seats and interiors at any price point, IMO.

I find tan interiors quite elegant, even though I am smitten with Rivian's Forest Edge. It's hard to beat or get more iconic than deep-dark green with a tan interior. Is this not the epitome of "old money?"
