There’s a matte wrapped Launch Green R1T that lives not too far from me. It just looks like matte green. Doesn’t change the tone much from my Launch Green R1T with the normal clear wrap. If we park next to each other, the colors are very similar.

Launch Green is the best color, but I’m biased…

My wife and I are thinking of selling our R1T (Gen1) and just use this.

Does Rivian give a "repeat" customer discount and if so, how much?

That really stinks. We have had our R1T for over 3 years and has been an amazing vehicle (well, after the inital 3 weeks it was in the shop when we first got it). I would think that at least with the R1T - Gen1 owners they would reward us a little.


Another question: SInce the R2 doesn't use airbags for the ride (per se) and go the more traditional route of springs.....how's the ride?

Great site if you like to dig into all the details of your vehicles performance. The developer is super responsive to the community. There is a free membership but I find the subscription totally worth the extras.

Vin 0686. My neighbor is picking theirs up next week Thursday and their Vin is 675.

Aside from this one random picture, that proves little, I saw an employee post on LinkedIn last week, and Karen Conner from OOS whining that he doesn't have his, Has anyone see any actual deliveries? I haven't see much on twitter or youtube from actual owners flexing their new toy. My assumption is there are far less deliveries in this first batch than people think.

With Q2 closing on June 30, Rivian is in a prime position for their upcoming quarterly update. By hitting their initial delivery milestone before the cutoff, they can use the subsequent earnings call to hype up Q3 and Q4 guidance. Furthermore, it gives them the logistical flexibility to stagger deliveries and manipulate the ramp cadence to guarantee beat-and-raise numbers through the end of the year. At the end of the day, Wall street/investors are the only customers rivian (and most companies) care about.
