When did you happen to get your vin and the details for delivery? I ordered the same specs on the 17th and haven't received anything outside of pre-production emails.

I was assigned a VIN on the night of the 25th of June. I received my delivery details this morning.

Sales/Delivery guy called me yesterday to say they expect my R2 to arrive at the Caledonia, MI SC this Friday. I expect to take delivery on the 17th (it's 150 miles away so I need to line up a ride down there). Previously there was nothing but a vague 2-6 week timeframe...

Delivery is scheduled - woo hoo. July 15th, almost exactly 4 weeks from order. I think people are thinking once they order it will be here in like a week. They gave me a 2-6 week estimate, and they hit it perfectly in the middle..

FYI was looking at the Pie Graphs, and was sort of confused - I saw 1 person says no to Launch and Yes to Autonomy, then I looked at they have Premium selected and the 20" AT Wheels, you can't get the AT's on a Premium and not sure why they wouldn't just get the Launch if they want Autonomy, and not pay 2500 for that.. I see they want the White Interior, and Rivian already said I believe White interior will be available as LE, or was it just the Forest Green and Borealis that can be ordered as a LE.

I skipped a few pages but I'm one of the ES on 20's that has yet to receive a VIN. I ordered 6/16. As an experiment, I reached out to express willingness to switch colors if that sped anything up but no response- I didn't expect them to agree to that but an acknowledgment would've been nice. In the meantime, I'm about to have to update my trade-in info for a new quote for the 3rd time and the value is dropping like a rock. TBH, I'm still excited but the delay has given my rational financial side time to water down my level of interest in going thru with the purchase.

To add- I wasn't expecting an instant turnaround but no window was provided when I placed the order nor communication since other than the pre-production email 2 weeks ago.

Didn't they say 4-8 weeks for Esker Silver, It has been like 3 weeks so far, for my GW they said 2-6 weeks, and the delivery is scheduled smack dab in the middle. I wouldn't bother getting a trade value until you have a delivery date.

No- no window was ever provided. That's why I'm curious. If others with ES orders have windows, I'd love to have some expectations.

when I ordered in the configuration it showed a time frame when you selected color. I believe around June 28th it said 8-12 weeks for Esker Silver. I did get a message back when I asked for an update and they said “we’re getting them out as quickly as possible and we’ll let you know”.

The frustration is real tho bc once the order is confirmed the timeline vanishes. I think Rivian is maxed out right now bc there are a lot of little tweaks that could make this better and more fun for all of us!

When I placed my order on 6/16. All colors except Silver showed 4-8 weeks. Esker silver showed 8-12 weeks. My guess is they are prioritizing the paid colors before moving to the free one.

100% but what's strange is the second most popular color has essentially had no new production or movement on VIN. LG is almost nonexistent...

Seeing the same thing. Still waiting on anything regarding our LG on 20". I did get an email from Rivian yesterday that said that my Cargo Cover was delayed, but would not impact the rest of my order. Hoping that means there is some movement on the backend on getting a VIN or any other movement on the order.
