Automating my Rivian drive modes & more using Auto-Mate by EVPLAY (Review)

I'm not sure what you mean about the glasses. My phone is 100% reliable with my Meta glasses, and the other devices. On occasion I have had the audio move from the Rivian to the glasses, but I know why and how that happens. The Auto-mate has never reconnected on its own, at all. I don't know if just exiting the car once will do it, but I installed it right before a road trip and stopped a few times. It never reconnected when I looked at it.

Mine gets disconnected every time I leave the car. It fails to auto reconnect, or to connect if I manually hit the button. The only way to reconnect is a press and hold on one of the switches (and I don't recall which, it's unclear which should be used).

@SwampNut are you iOS or Android? This thread has a couple of iOS users reporting issues, which I believe are resolved as of app AutoMate version 1.2(4).

Oh the glasses thing only happens when I'm switching back and forth between pairs for reviews.

Oh, if I take them off they pause the audio in the Rivian, and then hijack it when I put them on. Kind of expected in one way, but also I disabled all music control in their app and they still do it.

I've been using the Auto-Mate since April. This product has such potential! My favorite automation is adjusting into a high ride height when I'm driving below 40mph.

The product is not without pains, though. Bluetooth connectivity is truly hit or miss every drive. @EV Play - Alex , your website has not had activity in more than a month. Are you working on bug fixes, or is this product now living as-is?

I'm loving mine too and not personally experiencing any Bluetooth issues - perhaps I'm one of the lucky ones. The fact that there isn't activity on a bug reporting forum is usually a good thing - just reach out to him directly, he has always been super responsive.
