Update on R2 order invitation timing now in account

Coastal cloud and forest green availability is imminent; August starts Saturday. A forest green R2 is now on display in Normal also.

With their past, I find it hard to believe its ready to go haha. Fingers crossed though.

If anyone wants an extra data point, I'm a August/September estimate, in the northeast, and I haven't gotten an order invite and the estimate hasn't changed.

My take is they've had the parts (CC interior and green paint) in they were just waiting to ramp to add to the line. Now it may not be available until mid or late August, but August does start Saturday either way lol. I also think they've brough up CC, FG, and Borealis and pushed LIDAR/Gen3 out to 2027. They flipped what they were going to do originally it seems...IMO.

We have been invited to order, which we've done, and now have a 8-12 week delivery window... :-/ Curious what others' delivery windows are? Originally, I was told approximately 2-5 weeks after order placement for delivery.

what? Are you sure the forest green R2 is not actually a R1? They just re-released forest green in R1.

I see that Glacier White is a 4 - 8 week delivery window while Esker is 8 - 12 weeks. I suspect is a way to squeeze out a bit of profit.

Ah, that could be part of it. We are Catalina Cove. Where did you see delivery estimates for color?

I just got a text message that I am invited to order and my account was updated to the same. Original window was 2-4 weeks.

Same here, and that puts it at exactly 4 weeks from when the order invite estimates were given. While ordering, there was a message that stated 4-8 weeks delivery estimate. Now that the order is placed, no estimate given in my account. Just an email saying mine is in pre-production. I'm sure this is all standard.

I just submitted my order for Glacier White with 20” wheels. I noticed all of the extra cost available colors were 4-8 weeks, only Esker Silver was 8-12 weeks. I again content this is a profit play. Non metallic white should be cheaper than the Silver.
