Powered Tonneau Cover ($3000) - NOT included after "re-price"?

Hey guys, I noticed something interesting when the "price increase" happened. I had an Adventure package on pre-order, which of course included the power tonneau. However, when they "re-adjusted" my pricing, they didn't add the $3000 power tonneau cover. Make sense? That power tonneau became a $3000 option on all trucks - but they didn't "add" it automatically to my "re-priced" truck. Seems odd since that was a default item on the Adventure package.

I'm wondering, and would ASSUME when they fix this in the coming days, that anyone with an Adventure package will receive the no-charge power tonneau cover again.

Correct? Or will we be needing to look at the fine print (after they fix things again) to make sure options were not removed?

No one knows yet but I would assume that adventure packages will have the $3k tonneau cover (not $2k) included.

Right, but what I'm saying is isn't it odd they didn't "add" it to my "re-priced" truck? Make sense? I had an Adventure package, so by default, I'm surprised to see they didn't add the power cover. I'm wondering if anyone else spotted that.

It is because there are now two options. Silly they didn’t just default to adding back what one had before, but that’s apparently the reasoning according to my chat with CS last night.

When they fix all this, we'll have to check our configurations again. Questions now arise on the tow hooks and possibly powered cover.

I’d be careful to double check. Particularly for the folks who had the Adventure or LE package with powered tonmeau and what was previously the off-road package which morphed into hooks being standard and the underbody shield being extra.

Frankly, If I don't get the power tonneau cover, I'm cool, even more if I can lose it for 3000 off my previous price.

I mentioned it in another thread but I think the options matrix will continue with the new structure but old pricing.

So tow hooks will be included with adventure pkg, but the extra underbody protection will be the same price as off road pkg was before.

Tonneau cover will probably be a no cost option for adventure pkg too - choice of power or manual likely.

My powered tonneau cover is still included in my package. I'm not 100% certain that that's a good thing, though, really. The biggest concern I have about subsystem durability on the truck is the powered bed cover. Seems like it may be prone to failure. People who don't get the powered tonneau cover may end up being glad of that fact down the road. We'll see, I guess.

Honestly I hope they keep the tonneau cover change. I'd prefer to get the manual one with my Adventure package.
