I gave up using covers because it was too much hassle to remove them and access the sub-trunk. I have a Shark cordless vacuum that does a great job cleaning up dog hair. Just vacuum it like you would a carpet in the house. (The key thing is the rotating carpet brush.) There’s always lots of dog slobber in other parts of the back that need to be cleaned up, too.
