Small molding fell off - warranty coverage?

Hello. Has this happened to anyone where molding has fallen off at some point when driving? The SUV is still under the five-year bumper-to-bumper warranty. I am not sure when it happened but sometime between when I drop the kids off at school today and when I picked them up. Any reason to think this will not be covered by Rivian? Just found out a little while ago and I’m contacting Service now.

Looks like you said. Fell off. If it was ripped off or did other damage that would point to other causes. Not here. Let us know, and what the cause was.

This is 100% warranty and they just put a new double sided tape strip on it.

Rivian is sending a mobile tech out next week. As far as I, it just fell off. There’s no damage anywhere else around there. The adhesive is still on there as well.

Let's hope you are right. They are sending a mobile tech out next week. The advisor over the phone told me that the tech would make the determination as to whether it would be warranty or not. But, there is no damage anywhere around that area.

So, I don't know the cause. There is not damage at all anywhere near that area or around. I'll update after they do the repair next week. Thank you!
