I'm related to a Tesla old-timer (and not a true Roadster old-timer, but Model S old-timer), but I don't think the use case is going to be that helpful. Tesla's first store in Palo Alto allowed people to schedule test drives pretty much at-will starting in Summer 2012 (deliveries hadn't really quite started yet). Since we lived about 15min away, we just went down and test drove at the store itself.Curious - do any of you Tesla old-timers remember how it was handled with the initial release of the Model S?
Not sure how it worked for people not near a Tesla store (which I assume is what you're really curious about...).
