Dang, I’m May-June (R1T LE LG FE)and would prefer to drop the off- road package now as I only want the tow hooks.
Guess I’ll wait till guide contact to see if it will delay my delivery.
I would drop it as well if it didn't negatively impact my delivery timing. I think the standard protection is plenty for my type of off-roading. I don't mind keeping it, but I don't think it's necessary.

Basically, whatever gets me my truck sooner.

I spoke with my guide for the first time this morning. We discussed my configuration and he said they could get me a truck sooner if I was willing to change the interior from FE to BM. I asked how long of a wait is expected, if I stuck with FE. He said he didn't know and didn't want to make any promises without confirmation in the system. He said there are daily updates, so availability could change. I told him to go ahead and change it to BM.

I was told that I would need to keep the off-road package under the old pricing if I wanted the tow hooks. I had removed the under body shield to save money after the price increase.

I'm happy to leave the configuration as it was prior to March 1, minus the $2000 for switching to BM.

The next step is to wait for a VIN to be assigned to my order. Then I will get an email with the purchase agreement and the 8 step process will be available in my account. He said the old pricing will be updated in my account at that time.

He said I might be able to get my delivery at the end of March or early April, but worst case, by the end of May. I guess they are trying add a little cushion just in case.

It's been a long wait, but I'm happy to see it all coming together s=0==0=n ! At least I have a guide and my configuration is set.

Don't go with the soonest, go with the one you think will bring you the most joy!

If it were me, I’d save the money and get the truck sooner.
Me too but then again I was always BM so my opinion should not really count

@godfodder0901 @JEV I did the switch to Black Mountain! Forest Edge will delay delivery from supply chain impacts, "probably a few months."
I think you'll like it better, over the long term. The FE is nice, but I don't know how it'll look to me in 10 years... Black is more timeless.

Just got off intro call with my guide. Very pleasant experience. He revised delivery estimate from April/May to 3-6 weeks!

I just received PBA but without pricing re-adjustment. Might be OK to sign with that pricing and make sure everything is right actual purchase/delivery docs. Obviously, I'd rather sign even PBA with correct pricing, though.

My guide said reach out to get PBA re-issued if not correct. I hope that doesn't slow the overall process down.

Just a FYI, I've never had the offroad package equipped on my LE and my guild told me that I will still be getting the tow hooks. Guess we'll see

Has anyone asked about the ease of removing the under body shield? Is it an additional plate added to the vehicle that can be unbolted? If it can be unbolted, I would probably have it removed 99% of the time.

I just added the off road package for the tow hooks and resale value.

I just did the same! I signed PBA with new pricing, I'll dispute it if it becomes a problem later on. Whatever it takes to speed up the process!
