Winter with 20 degrees f, and highway speeds of 75 to 80 mph: you will lose 30-40 percent, in my experience with my electric motorcycle and Chevy Bolt.
Both cold and highway speeds decrease range.
In the city my bolt will go 300 miles. About 220 on Highway.
My motorcycle (8 years old) will go 100 miles in the city, about 70 on highway.
So for the R1T I expect it will go about 330-340 in the city and 240 ish on the highway? Remember 314 is an average of city and highway.
So 20 degrees and 75 mph, about 200 miles? Give or take.
Again, just based on prior experience and not R1T experience.
But Rivian, I'm happy to do some mileage tests here in Albuquerque. City, Highway, off road, through mud and snow. I'm just helpful like that.
this is the road leading up to a few acres we have in the Jemez Mountains. Late winter and spring are our least favorite time to go up there. A big part of my ordering a Rivian is this road.
