I had my first guide call last week and my configuration is locked, but nothing since. I thought we needed the PBA signed before the order goes to production. Or do they assign a VIN first and then send out the PBA ? I sent an email to my guide asking for clarification, but he hasn't responded.

They are delivering a bunch of these vehicles out of existing inventory vs. waiting for them to come off the line. My understanding is you sign the PBA they find a vehicle in your config that is either at your SC or en route and they assign it to you.

ETA: I don't think you get a PBA if there isn't already a vehicle produce or in process - hence why only black mountain trucks in a handful of colors are being delivered.

I switched to BM because my guide said I could get a truck sooner, so I'm confused about the sequence of the process. I thought you had to have a signed PBA in place before they look to see what is available and assign a truck to you. Or do they find a match and then send the PBA ?

I live an hour from the factory, so transport should not be a problem.

My best guess: They know they have X number of a given config so they pull X buyers (based on config and location) and start the process. I do not believe they are doing a PBA then starting to build the truck based on it taking a couple weeks from PBA to delivery. Sort of a Next Man Up approach - if someone decides to back out, they just go to the next person in that area w/ that config.

The 8-Step thing seems pretty buggy. I had everything but Step 8 completed, but just logged back in to see if that had unlocked, and it now says I need to complete Step 6 again. Weiiiiird

The same thing is happening to me too...If I click on it, OneSpan just says that you've already signed. It's also locked my Step 7, but I'm doing a Wire Transfer (and that'll go out tomorrow...couldn't do it today).

Must be a bug or glitch or something. I’m sure it’ll be resolved shortly

If it's happening to multiple people it's probably an issue with the website, so, guess we just wait lol

I sent a message to my Guide and to the CS email. At the very least they'll be aware of the issue now

Wonder if you’ll be given the option of taking delivery at the factory, that’d be neat.

That would explain a lot. They are clearly running out all the black interior LEs they can, with the wheel/tire combos that are available.

personally I’d be hoping for the latest possible VIN. More practiced workers. ?

This has happened to me as well...weird. My truck is in the Phoenix Service Center prepping for delivery. I'm ignoring it, but I've sent my Guide an FYI note....

I also got my 8 steps today, guess they are doing them in batches! Currently in process
What's your build? Still haven't received my 8 steps. I'm LG BM 20 inch off road. 20 min from you.

Here are a few pics of underside. No off-road package ordered.

My guide told me my truck would be delayed if I removed the off road package. So I left it on. Oh well.
