Has anyone heard from CS that they’re scheduled for June?

I think everyone who’s gotten a narrower window from CS has been told May, which makes me think it’s just the default placeholder for the system (or that optimistic assumptions are the default, which at this point produces May as the answer).

Also, it’ll be helpful if people specify R1T or R1S in this thread, because there is a real mix of orders for this cohort and we may end up having very different timelines depending on the ramp for each model.
CS just told me Adventure R1T's are slated for June start date delivery... Was also told "I was in a good spot" with my 11/27/18 preorder that Rivian asked me to downgrade Max Pack to Large Pack for 2022 delivery.

So I figure July/August ?

I don't know your build but I have gotten to think they are going to get it to you in June. It is just bad PR to be keeping you hanging out there.

It‘s defenetly a color thing!!! I’m April 2019 order R1T Limestone FE with May June no contact. I see above June 2022 preorder has already been contacted.. Doesn’t seem right given the preorder times ????

Well, seeing more people saying they are being told OC is delaying their delivery, I just updated my configurator to BM hoping that will get me a call from a guide. If it's Q2 for OC and FE is behind that.. I may just take the BM and get my truck.

I’m a may-June LE rivian blue / OC order. I just noticed today that the pricing has been updated back to the original lower pricing and my configuration is now locked! I haven’t heard from a guide yet.

Finished with my Guide:
Short and sweet. Presented me with two options…

1. I can take delivery next week if I switch to Black Mountain
2. Take delivery in May (maybe earlier) if I keep Ocean Coast

He told me to take my time to decide and shoot him a text whenever.

I’m likely going to wait till May for OC…

Yea, May isn't far away at all and definitely worth it if your preference is OC.

Are you R1s or T? Sorry if I missed it.

I ordered around you but am S, so have a May to June. . . . . Good luck.

Ah I see it - R1t. Not cool that you are so far back. I wonder what degree location affects it. Also if there is no Limestone they should just call someone like you and let you know.

This tells me that CS is giving out info that is only half true. When asked if OC or FE interiors will delay deliveries they are still saying "no delays for OC or FE have been announced". Their statement may be true for non Launch Editions or for orders which are scheduled for July or later but for many LE preorders it is clearly causing a delay. This situation as well as numerous other edge cases are why knowledgeable empowered guides should be assigned earlier in the process and prioritized by preorder date not the expected vehicle production date.
@Jsidell, congrats on the great news this is very promising for team May/ June and really all LE preorders. If I had a guide that could tell me if my FE interior was putting me back 3 months vs. 0-1 month it might affect my decision to be honest if I knew that I could drop the off road protection without affecting my delivery date I would probably do it.

Thanks! And agree with your statements.

My guide said that OC wasn’t going to delay my order, rather they have Black Mountain interiors already built and if I wanted to take early delivery, that I could have the option.

He assured me that OC would still keep me on track for a May (maybe earlier) delivery.

My theory - again just personal conjecture - may be that Black Mountain is the most popular order so they chose to prioritize this first to meet the largest batch of orders. With the March 1st pricing and cancelled orders, they may be left with an overstock of Black Mountain built trucks already off the factory line and are calling upcoming orders to see if they’d like to take ‘early delivery’ by switching to BM, thus leaving OC and FE interiors still on track or even sooner.

This is my conclusion also FWIW
