Any "March-April" delivery people contacted?

One week from being contacted by Guide and then switching both delivery locations and wheels, today I received my VIN and 8-step for the 'adjusted' vehicle (LE, LG, BM dark 20" wheels). It's all completed now and assume vehicle is close by (Denver)...?

Trade-in from Rivian was horrible compared to Carmax (65% higher) so dropped the trade-in idea (interesting... Rivian trade-in value increased by $2k magically from original quote but still way lower than Carmax).

My truck will be delivered Wednesday, my charger still has not shipped. The nearest charger other than plugging up whatever comes with the truck is 95 miles away. Why they haven’t shipped the charger is beyond me.

At 7:13 tonight I received the email to set up delivery! Filled out 8 steps on Friday, loan check reached Rivian this morning. Things were quiet all day, and my guide never responded to my request for an update.

There were 2 days available, Thursday/Friday. I chose the afternoon on Thursday so I can pick up my son from school and go home and witness the delivery with him!

Thursday @ 3:30pm!!!!!

Correction on my info above. I typed TERM, I meant rate. Ask for a discount in the rate. Most lenders will give you a better rate with a shorter term. I was able to get a discount without going to a shorter term.

DCU.org 1.24% for 65 months, including .25% discount for an EV, and .5% discount for direct deposit of 100% of your net paycheck. This was before the Fed’s .25% rate increase this month.

Doh. I got 2.74% for the Tesla which is pretty good and the lowest they offer it seems. I may try PenFed as well. Now to think about what to do for Rivian (I have like a year anyway lol, I’m in 1st half of 2023 R1S).

I heard from my guide today. She has been with Rivian for a while but I was her first “guide” customer. I was told a truck with my configuration (LE, GW, has been built and is ready to be delivered. I had to delete the camp kitchen to avoid delay. I’m told I can buy it later at the launch edition price.

I was tempted but took the lease…hoping my stable 3 years in the future will be the R1S and a Polestar 5, but loving our P*2.

I'm reading that all registrants have to be present to accept delivery. Hard for my wife to leave the hospital that early. Asking my guide if one signer would be enough, or if we can just remove her from the title. Anybody came across this issue? @AdamL @godfodder0901

We were both there to sign power of attorney forms. The delivery person is a notary, so it all happened right there. I imagine they could have you do it yourself, but it is easier to have them do it. You could also take delivery at the hospital...

We were both there to sign power of attorney forms. The delivery person is a notary, so it all happened right there. I imagine they could have you do it yourself, but it is easier to have them do it. You could also take delivery at the hospital...

I convinced her to leave at 3pm to get home in time. Can't ruin this after 3.5 years lol.
