The other day I drove past a mule parked so of course I stopped to check it out. It appeared to be a production-like le/adv ocean coast interior and the truck clearly had seen heavy usage:
- The wood paneling looked very faded, very dry/cracking, and almost peeling in places. Night & day in color and finish compared to what I drove at a first mile event. The photo I took doesn't do it justice given the limited angle due to glare, but if you zoom in you can get a sense of what I'm referring to. My big concern is that the wood interior is not going to last very long without dedicated attention/upkeep. How are folks thinking about keeping this looking fresh?
- I have seen lots of concerns on this forum that the Ocean Coast leather will get extra dirty / have color bleed / etc. I didn't see any of that. The seats definitely looked extensively used, but the color was essentially the same I saw on display at a first mile event.
