Your configuration won't get locked until you confirm it with your guide.Received the invite to schedule my introductory call with my guide next week. Scheduled for Monday. Just checked and my configuration is *not* locked.
Mine locked prior to hearing anything from a Guide or the system even showing a Guide. Was locked for 2 or so days.Your configuration won't get locked until you confirm it with your guide.
Your experience is the exception not the rule. The standard procedure is for the guide to confirm your configuration with you before they lock it in. Who knows why Rivian handled some people differently than others, or why they started building Adventure models while there are so many LE still waiting.Mine locked prior to hearing anything from a Guide or the system even showing a Guide. Kinda lines up with my thought they were validating the big update firstLooks like they remembered they have a bunch of R1Ts to deliver today!
I had the same thought.Kinda lines up with my thought they were validating the big update first
It seems that changing your interior to BM didn't necessarily delay your contact, as was speculated by some. So, perhaps changing config before guide contact is not an issue? In fact, maybe it got you a guide earlier as you were hoping. What do you think? Congrats by the way! I got my guide assigned yesterday as well!Had my call this morning and config is locked. Time to join the waiting for VIN club! Nothing regarding timelines except we are on target for my window (as expected).

Yeah, I think changing my config probably sped contact up a little. OC still seems to be getting the shaft and haven’t seen a CY customer delivery yet either. It seems that changing your interior to BM didn't necessarily delay your contact, as was speculated by some. I stopped by the service center yesterday. There was a single RC in the service bay area inside. Could not tell the interior color from my vantage. Maybe it was yours!Had my initial guide call this morning. Nothing new to really report and felt a little perfunctory after so much build up. Guide repeated that guides have heard nothing about a "delay" for OC interior, but acknowledged everything produced so far is BM. No attempt at all to dissuade me from picking OC. She said it may be a "good sign" that my order was picked for a guide contact for production of OC vehicles. (Of course, I had BM configured the week before my initial guide email, so I'm still skeptical). Expect delivery in 4-6 weeks.

How am I supposed to work after such news??I stopped by the service center yesterday. There was a single RC in the service bay area inside. Could not tell the interior color from my vantage. Maybe it was yours!
PS. Looks like Denver has been delivering trucks like crazy. The once full parking lot was down from about 50 trucks, to maybe 8 or 10. Lucky ducks.
You aren't! Drop everything and head over there to see what you can find out. That's what I would doHow am I supposed to work after such news??
