Just got done driving kind of aggressively in the rain. ESC kicked in to straighten the truck out a few times. Didn't realize how much the auto-hold does, because even on nearly flat surfaces, the vehicle will still roll at ~1 mph.

Anyone else see this before? Does my truck hate my driving?

I've done some aggressive rain driving too, trying to get it to drift or showing people 0-60, and have never seen that ??‍♂

Yes I saw this just backing down a steep incline driveway yesterday and the truck kept rolling with that message.

I also saw it keep rolling forward and not engaging the auto hold with no warning message at a traffic light. I regened almost to a stop but kept light pressure until it was displaying 0 mph. Let go, and my truck rolled backwards so I had to use the brake.

Finally, noticed this reversing slowly into spots where previously just letting off the accelerator causes nearly instantaneous brake hold...now it rolls more and I've had to use the brake as well. Nearly slammed into the wall since I expected the old behavior.

if you need to check whether it's you, or the truck, I'd be happy to take it off your hands for a week.

I promise to drive it gently ?

Love the auto hold. So far it has locked in on all occassions. The other thing I like is that I don't have to be at a standstill to switch from Drive to Reverse or viceversa.

Someone at Rivian who is responsible for pedal mapping needs to drive my polestar. It's pretty difficult in the Rivian to move backwards at a snail pace. Any pedal application at all makes it accelerate too hard IMO. Polestar's pedal is a little weird at first but it makes it so much nicer to drive it in parking lots. *Sounds like this might be due to having it in "High" regen profile. Obviously it's stupid to have low speeds perform different. I'll have to investigate further.

Is creep mode available in Rivian? I know that most people don't like it, but that's my favorite mode to operate in parking spaces.
