Awesome! That’s the configuration I’m planning on getting. Do you have a Launch Edition or Adventure? What was your deposit date?

I have the Lunch Edition which I put a deposit on 11/20/2020. I got a delivery time for May/June so I fell very lucky I got it sooner. It may be that Rivian ran a big batch of Red to get that color out of the way as they would be running the other colors for years before it's economical to run with so few orders for Red compared to the other colors.

Meh, I'm not sure if this is a good hypothesis. My order is a little over a year older than yours, I also have a Red Canyon spec, and have not heard a peep from Rivian about delivery.

Man... 11/20/2020 receiving trucks and I have a 11/25/2020 reservation and I haven't even been contacted with a delivery window.... San Diego here.

What are people seeing in terms of a turn around time from first being contacted by a guide and actually recieving the truck. I am a april 2021 preorder and my guide just contacted me today. Getting closer!

There are many 2018s without contact. I’m personally an early 2019 in San Diego. My opinion is they produced as many black mountain as they could irregardless of order date and hopefully they are now moving to forest edge (first one delivered today)

They've gotta be batching them for sure. I pre-ordered on Sept 3, '21 with original ETA of Oct - Dec '22, config: Adventure El Cap, black interior, power tonneau cover, 21" wheels. Met my guide 4 days ago, got a VIN, and already 7/8 steps completed. Guide said yesterday truck is in quality check and to get ready. I def feel very lucky with the timing, but I'm guessing I have one of the most common configurations. ?‍

Wow that Red Canyon looks amazing! Congrats on delivery, that is the best shot of Red Canyon I have seen. I've been LG with FE interior since the configurator opened but I would now consider RC with BM if it was offered sooner.

Can anyone comment on how long i'll be waiting from here? My guide told me yesterday that my vehicle wait waiting to be shipped in normal yesterday (when my 8 steps opened up). I'm only able to complete the steps through insurance. The rest will unlock (I presume) after they PDI the vehicle at my service service center (I'm guessing ROCKVILLE, MD). Just want to iron out the plan w/ my CU as they're exceptionally small and this is the first Rivian they've done (can't ACH the payment---but've indicated they can wire it).
