I was suppose to take delivery yesterday, got an email on Sunday saying they painted it the wrong color. This is after my 8 step process kept crashing. So now I have given them complete funds for an R1T, have taken insurance policy out on an R1T, but have no 8 step portal, and no timeline on delivery.

I sure hope the buying process improves for other people moving forward.

I sent an email to CS to see if they will look into it. I’ll update if they respond with anything of value.

I'm heading home to Louisiana on Friday. Mudbugs and Beer will bring me cheer.
Hmmm, it's May... Almost June. As someone who lived in NOL for a couple years, I feel like you probably already know where I'm going with this. Mudbug with caution, and don't forget to pack all your linen shirts. I'd ha e a cooler of Parish or Abita waiting for me in the car of whomever was picking me up in their (probably not R1T).

6/2019 pre-order. No email for me. Didn't get the last one either.
10/19 preorder, quoted June/July ‘22 delivery of a LE R1S…never cancelled my preorder during “Pricegate”, haven’t changed my configuration since initial “order” and I haven’t received either of the last two emails.

I’m wondering if these are going out to just R1T deliveries?

The (?) contact us icon is gone from my rivian account page, fwiw. Perhaps a temporary glitch or part of communications overhauling.
I logged in yesterday and the (?) was there, but this morning it is gone. Odd.

I'm an R1T with an estimated delivery of Jul-Sept 22 and did not receive the email. What concerns me is over the past few weeks, random additional trucks showed up under my account, then I'd reach out to CS and they'd cancel them. This happened twice, and then a third time a new random truck showed up and it went away on its own after 3-4 days. So there's clearly something going on in the back-end that's not registering my account properly.

You literally just need to check your account communications settings, this e-mail was sent to everyone with 2022 estimated delivery windows who are R1T and not R1S pre-orders. You probably have general e-mails turned off accidentally. This wouldn't prohibit you from receiving the past e-mails with your delivery window etc. b/c those were targeted

Incorrect, I have that setting enabled. I'd been receiving every message from Rivian up until that "mistake" a couple weeks back and this one.

I am in the same boat, R1S LE holder, and I had received every email until the last two. I've never updated my email since ordering and double checked all my settings.

Also, why would you send an email to R1T holders with order dates stretching out to the end of the year but not to R1S holders with dates sooner - unless they are not really planning to deliver R1S to to customers this year (No - employee deliveries do not count).
