what is your order date? I was still told that my april/may window was still intact....Im not holding my breath for that, but I would be happy w/ a jun/july window...for sure.

Did you guys complete a survey early on after preorder? I am 4/19 R1S and remember completing a survey that asked a number of questions. I wonder if that is part of our profile and plays a role in order priority? As an example, would an existing EV owner or more specifically a Tesla owner be prioritized? Less heartburn over completely new EV owners, low bar for fit and finish, etc. I can’t remember the questions but I do think it asked about existing vehicles, use plans, preferences I.e. 7 vs 5 seats, etc

I vaguely remember an email with a survey like that....yes, I remember; but that was long long long ago, in a galaxy far far away....when we thought, 'wow, Rivian is special, and really striving to have their sh#t together'. Now it's just farce.

I reached out to CS again today. Hey, it's June, what's the story, that kinda deal. A few nuggets from that convo:

- "May-June is still your current delivery window"
- "Our earliest non-employee deliveries BEGAN towards the end of May, and we'll continue to ramp production of the R1S through June and July!" notice BEGAN, past tense. I asked how many and was told, "I am not sure exactly how many but they are going out now."
- "We are sending up updates to all preorder holders beginning next week, this will give you more insight into if your delivery window has moved at all."
- "I hope we can deliver on improving the frequency of our communications, I know a lot of people would appreciate it."

As with the R1T, I won't believe R1S are shipping to actual customers until a forum member reports getting scheduled for delivery. The past has shown when consequential deliveries begin, it will be obvious. If you have to speculate whether deliveries are happening, they aren't.

If they’re delivering to non-employees (and I bet they’re not), it’s one or two max and they have special relationships with Rivian or the industry. They’re not just lucky launch edition orders. There will be a flood of R1S delivery posts when it starts for real.

A forum member should see a car carrier with R1S' on the highway before we learn of an actually delivery. They'll need to build some (even small at first) buffer at the various SC's around the country before actual transfers start taking place. IMHO

They're sticking to their story that non employees already received R1Ss.... that's commitment
