Hi,

We have had our R1T for a week and love it. On delivery day it was raining but over the past couple of days it’s been sunny. We are in Portland.

I have noticed a few spots on the trim that appear to be sun damaged? I think. Pic below.

I figured this would happen at some point but not this quick.
Any advice on products to use to minimize and restore/protect this?
Thanks all!

I would recommend 303 for any exterior plastic surfaces. Excellent stuff.

Mine came delivered with quite a bit of that on the front end.
Ugh. Maybe I'll ask my guide about NOT having my R1S detailed before delivery. I'd rather not have to spend time trying to undo their sloppiness. This is why I really hate black textured trim like this.

Mine was mostly on the smooth black trim that faces up on the front bumper actually.

I would expect that to wipe/buff off easily with a rag. Was that the case?

Yeah, think so for the most part. That's probably one of the places on the vehicle likely to wear and get/be dirty the quickest, so I'm not really obsessing over it.
