Rivian hauling dirt bikes in bed -- test fitting TE300 and 500 KTM

Loaded my TE300 and my 500 KTM in the Rivian this weekend.

I had previously installed the L track, wheel chocks and additional tie down rings.

Glad to see that the 21 front wheel doesn't gap out against the tonneau storage lip, and that you are getting a good contact point on the front of the bed. Assuming it wouldn't be any different if you didn't have those wheel chocks in play too, but they look functional as long as you aren't loading a smaller diameter wheel that would have a lower contact point.

You'll need something to place the wheel a bit back from the tonneau cover/front bed of the truck. My cover doesn't close all the way (normal ?) and the L track and chock create about 1 to 1.5" of space so the wheel doesn't interfere with the closed tonneau cover.

Snug but nice. I'll be happy when someone makes a combo ramp/bed extender that fits given the longer length of the tailgate once extended.

Nice work... Like the track setup.

I'd love to see a few more pictures of how the front wheel loads against the chock and maybe more detail showing if it actually touches the tonneau.

My Rivian was delivered a few days ago, but haven't tried getting the dirt bikes in it yet. Plus my tonneau needs to be replaced, it does not retract fully, stops at about 4-5", so the dirt bikes *definitely* not going to load.

Rivian service says they know about the issue, that it requires replacement of the entire power tonneau, and they are in short supply right now. I chose to take delivery anyway, I'll use the F150 to haul motos for now.

I’d be wary of the L track attached to the tonneau cover containment. Wouldn’t want to push/pull on that much.

There are 8 metric Rivnuts embedded in the front bed under the plastic bedliner.

Right but only four of them(the lower row) go into the structure of the bed. The top row goes into the container for the tonneau cover.

The bedrail seemed really cool! Looks like just have to take off that trim and screw no need to drill. I've been thinking about how to add a wheel chock there
