I've only put on 40 miles or so, but i do have some questions.

Can you control navigation volume to one level and music to another? Nav directions are too quiet, when music is at a good level. Would love to nav to be pretty loud, kinda as a wake up idiot you need to do something.

Truck pulls to the right, also the steering wheel "shudders" pretty bad around 79+, you feel it driving and if you let go you can physically see it shuddering. :-\

Alexa seems dumb as a box of rocks, but might be how I'm asking? E.g. Navigate to ABC.

Steering wheel seems really skinny and small, but will admit that the Model X is THICC so need more time. Just seems like i can't get it to a good spot where I can fully see the speed limit sign at the top of the drivers display.

Can you not change to 24hr clock?

Pretty happy currently, but can tell the software needs some work, trying to remind myself that Tesla wasn't always this good (V9 software+)

There's a volume setting for the nav in the settings for the nav (little cog at the bottom right when looking at map).

For the veering and shuddering you should file a service ticket; they aren't normal and mine does not do that.

Sadly leaving for 4 days so will have to play with all of this when i get back. I'm pretty bummed out about the driving dynamics at highway speeds but hopefully it's just a something out of alignment or balance.

I get the shuttering too. I figured it was road feedback. I get it at slow speeds when I hit a rock or curb or something, which I assume is a feature designed to inform you that "your front tires hit something", similar to how you'd feel with hydraulic steering. But I do get them at highway speed sometimes. If you talk to service, I'd love to hear if they think it's an incorrect behavior to do that at speed.

Shuddering seems pretty normal, and is confirmed as normal by the service guys. No known fix. Veering is not normal, and you should have that looked at.

Indeed, she is. I have about a 10% success rate asking her to do things.

Yes, you can change Nav volume in those settings, think there are two or three level options.

Alexa was messed up for me in the latest update, was near flawless before that. So, don't set your baseline on what you're experiencing now, I think it's just a bug they need to remove in the next one coming up. Signing out and back in seems to fix it for awhile, but a sleep cycle reverts back to not being able to do just about anything.

Curious if yours worked better before this last update. Mine had full functionality with pretty much 100% success rate (routing, controlling Spotify, controlling Amazon Music/Pandora, Audible and other third party apps, etc.), and is not basically broken. Seems like others have had same version all along and I finally downloaded the broken version somehow.

I've heard stories that it might have something to do with wheel choice, with it being more prominent on the 20's, which is what I have. I've also heard they have been telling people it's a known issue with the AT, but that it goes away after a few thousand miles. I do think I've noticed less wheel shake lately than at first. I have a service ticket, but they haven't come up with a plan/response yet, think they are just putting it off until my local SC opens next month.

Shuddering is not normal and saying it will go away indicates something improperly made, assembled, specified, designed, or used. I've had this occur on new expensive tires. I looked at my BMW mechanic (in Germany) like he was nuts when he told me it was my near-new-and-expensive tires (it would occur at very high speeds), as I'd bought them somewhere else. He even let me put new tires he sold on without buying them and try them, and yep, the shuddering was totally not there. I did buy the even newer tires from him and had to throw a fit to get a refund at the other place for the poorly made tires.

The point is, it's not normal and should not be pitched as such. If it goes away after some use, that just means wear has quickly occurred in some component at a higher than normal rate, and whether it's off-balance or defective, it is likely to continue to wear at an excessive rate.

When i get back home I'll get video of what it's doing, maybe grab a little "sign here" sticky to show off the shuttering.

Shuddering steering at speed. Around 60mph it’d be balancing. At higher speed tires improperly constructed as stated above, untrue hubs (if that’s a word), not normal at all.
Obviously if you’ve had a Jeep Wrangler in the past you’ve heard of death wobble…
Edit: check your lug nuts while you’re in there.

Have the same issue at 75+ I don’t feel it too much when holding the steering wheel but I can see it when I let go. I have the 20” AT, wondering if that has something to do with it.

This is unacceptable to me. There is no way in hell I'm going to accept a shaking steering wheel on my $80,000 truck. My Tesla doesn't do it, my father's RAM doesn't do it, and neither does any other modern car I've had. That's a horrible excuse from Rivian if they're really saying that...
