Just to clarify, that would be Android Automotive which is an OS and a completely different product from Android Auto which is not an OS. Google really botched their branding there.Interesting to hear that Rivian’s UI is built on Android Auto. Not sure if that true but interesting if it is.
Marketing folks that name stuff are the most over paid and under performing group in the Valley. There really aren't that many OSs suitable for the automotive infotainment space and I'd much prefer Android Automotive over say Microsoft (which generally seems to be falling out of favor with OEMs except for maybe VW).
