  1. The keyfob frequently doesn’t seem to work in proximity mode, nearly always have to press the unlock button.

Have a couple of new issues to report from my delivery this weekend. Loving the car but just want to add to the knowledge base

...

2. first use of power tonneau left a nice long scratch along the top, fresh at the delivery center. Delivery advisor said it was common, new one might do the same

3. Weird vibration from the AC compressor, makes my dash/steering column buzz, but can’t get it to consistently occur so I haven’t created a service ticket for it.
#2 happened to me on delivery with the delivery guide as well. He went pale but I didn't mind. I've since put scratches all over the truck.

#3 may be the battery coolant pump, that's what I think I feel in the steering column and accelerator pedal. I am not expecting Rivian to fix this, but I would expect them to revise future builds since it makes the truck feel cheap. The accelerator pedal itself is fairly flimsy, a weird place to cheap out for a one pedal driving EV.

Wait seriously? Lol I’ve never used the key as I just use phone key, but the key fob doesn’t unlock the car by itself like every manufacturer does? Kind of an odd omission. I wouldn’t even call it missing a feature, it’s almost equal to missing power windows in 2022!

The hardware is there to support this feature, and many of us speculate that an OTA could add this in the future but no, this is not a current capability.

You mean flimsy like this as reported today on E for Electric's youtube channel? (I still hate this guy but had to watch enough to see what he was bitching about now.)

It is the only one that works right now, yes. It works great (nearly flawlessly) for me and others, but YMMV.
It’s ok, usually it does work, but sometimes it won’t unlock and I have to unlock my phone and then boom it opens. I wish you could use the buttons on the bed or frunk to wake the car.

The main issue is that in the ~30hrs we've owned it, we've had to delete & re-pair my phone 3x, my wife's phone 2x. Both running IOS16/Beta2, which doesn't cause issues with anything else (i.e. the Tesla's), but who knows.

I already had my R1T in the Orlando service center for 15 days. My remaining concerns (all addressed previously but not fixed):
1. Tailgate does not open with 1 press of back button. 1 press loosens it but it is still latched. 2nd press releases tailgate button still needs a nudge to ”open with gravity”, as designed.
2. Windshield was replaced due to exterior scratches with a windshield with internal scratches.
3. Rear bumper needs replacement due to a cosmetic defect on it. Rivian is ordering a new bumper (not cover).
4. Still waiting on my 20” spare tire. Waiting 5 weeks now. They claim it is due to a lack of placards with tire specs.
5. Passenger gear tunnel PPF was replaced due to peeling on corners. New PPF needs replacement due to bubble.
6. Small chip on bottom of drivers door needs touch up. Waiting for SC to receive a factory touch up kit.

I have been waiting for a week now for Rivian to consolidate these items into 1 ticket, acquire the parts, and schedule repair. I am going to request their R1T loaner instead of an ERAC Ford Fusion again.
How do you rate your experience with Orlando service center ? mine so far not good, they just towed my truck yesterday to diagnose suspension issue

Not good. My R1T has been there twice and they fix 1/2 the items each time and create new issues. Due back in 3 weeks. Communication is sub par.

Here too, car broke down on Wednasday it took them day and half to tow it and they have not given me answer of what was wrong with it
