Just following up here since it’s been a while and I never posted how I handled it:
Rivian sent the sticker as others have said and that wasn’t enough for the CU you still. I had a letter of guarantee from Rivian then but that was called into question and got escalated with the CU and then I got frustrated and just went with my local bank who took the letter of guarantee. Rivian guide pushed back hard when I kept asking about the certificate of origin and kept saying they could never provide that. In all, it went quickly once I got the local bank involved. I may switch to the CU later when rates adjust downward some.
