I've heard good things about Blue Cruise but haven't experienced it. It's been awhile since I've driven the Model 3 so wasn't sure about the lane changing but we've gotten pretty used to it with the X5. I will say something that I like about the Model 3 is the stoplight awareness that dings when the light turns green. Hopefully this will be added in an update at some point. That's perfect, thanks for the explanation. Autopilot also cannot change lanes and has to be re-enabled which is pretty annoying, but I 100% agree on the turning pressure making autopilot less smooth because it's SO annoying and unsafe IMO. I highly prefer my wife's MMEGT's blue cruise to autopilot because of this.
