Twice in the past day and a few other times my phone has connected to my camp speaker that's in the truck at random.

Most of the time I notice it because I'll have a random Bluetooth connection and when I check it out it'll be the camp speaker. I confirmed the unit is still locked in the truck and I haven't even used it in over 2 weeks so seems kinda strange.

Anyone else?

Haha. Happened to me a few times. Since I don't use the speaker frequently, I just forgot it on my phone.

This leaves the question, why it is doing this? Seems like a waste of energy if it's powering on randomly.

Just happened again! I pressed the link button and turned it white from blue. But yeah strange.

Yes, I get this sometimes and it’s extremely frustrating. Hasn’t happened in a couple of weeks (*knocks on wood*) but when it happens it does it out of the blue. No related camp speaker use.

It seems to be all camp speakers. I also just forget it from my phone until I use it. It's almost as if the speaker never shuts off. I have pulled it out of the truck completely dead.

I just had to forget it, apparently it knows I posted something about it because since making this post it has been adamant to be connected to my phone.

I just tried out my camp speaker for the first time today and it was definitely doing this throughout the evening. Very frustrating.

Somewhere there's a flashlight coming on randomly illuminating the B pillar.

This happened to me too after my last SC visit. It did it for about a day to day and a half. Restarting my phone and disconnecting the camp speaker from my iPhone's bluetooth list didn't work. It eventually stopped... I don't recall why. I did force quit the Music app on my iPhone and that seemed to help. It was connecting when I played YouTube and other media though.

I can never get my camp speaker that was previously paired to pair again when I pull it out again unless I forget it and repair. Super annoying.
