No, no, not me, I swear, it was my friend @kanundrum that was relaying this story to me he heard from @jimcgov3 and @skyote about a PNW get-together hosted by @SeaGeo and @DuckTruck regarding the “first song song played in your Rivian”, and some random member posted “Tiny Dancer” by Elton John.

Ok, I honestly don't know what you mean by wrapping your arms around the back.

What dimension are you saying is unusually small?

I think they are saying the R1S is really narrow. Which it is.

It is more than 6" narrower than a Tahoe/Suburban.

Easiest point of comparison is that the R1S is not even close to wide enough to fit 48' wide building materials with only 42" between the arm rests. The Tahoe/Suburban have plenty of space between the armrests for full 48" sheets.

The narrowness is also really obvious when you look at the seats. Tahoe/Suburban fit 3 across in the 3rd row, R1S only fits two.

Right, but it's not a Tahoe or suburban. Is it small compared to a telluride? An Ascent? Is it the perimeter that's small since we are talking about a hug? The bumper? Are we wrapping our arms around the seats themselves? Mostly confused by what dimension we are measuring here.

Some people seem to think the R1S is wider than a Tahoe/Suburban.

The R1S is 82" wide.

In comparison, its wider than nearly all its competition.

For example an Explorer is 78.9" wide.

It's even wider than a Tahoe or Suburban.
