That's awesome. Do you mind saying what part of California? I am only asking because I am waiting delivery in the Sacramento Service Center and my vehicle has been "in transit" for over four weeks with no updates. I have VIN 111XX. I have a long trip coming up and if it is not available next week, it is going to be a while before I can see it.
My guide just notified me this afternoon that my R1T has arrived at the West Sac Service Center. Not sure when it shipped from Normal, but I got my VIN (115XX) on Aug 29th. Hopefully yours was on the same train.

That's great news. Thanks for the update. I got by VIN about the same time, so I am going to assume it is with that shipment. Thanks again.

My VIN 121** was assigned 9/15/22. On 9/20 my guide let me know the truck was in Normal, waiting for shipment to Denver. Today, 9/22, my guide let me know my R1T is now at the Denver Service Center. I've scheduled Delivery for Saturday 9/24.

EV Wall Charger was shipped yesterday and should arrive Friday.

I didn't expect the truck until later this year, so it has been a scramble to get ready.

Slightly under xxx12800 received 9/23. R1T Adventure blue/black.
Considering that I see Amazon delivery vans from Rivian all over my area, this seems like ok progress for end of Q3. But another 12k in 3 months seems like a tough goal.

The EDVs and R1S have different sequence numbers so we are not sure how many of those are out, we know R1S is getting close to 1k, pretty sure more EDVs were built than that. The 3rd quarter results should be interesting. Will be interesting to see if they hit the goal of having a second shift by end of third qtr as well.

That is the highest to date. Congratulations. Getting harder to see a easy path to 25k unless they are cranking Vans out. And we probably won’t have those #’s until the next quarterly report.

Just to clarify, I got a VIN slightly under 12800 on 9/23, but not actual delivery of the vehicle. I was told 0-8 weeks earlier today, LOL. I am near Chicago, so not far from Normal, so hoping 0-8 weeks means this Friday!!! :)

My VIN is 11197...... been 100% paid and insured for over 30 days now with no delivery date in sight. The site won't even open my "schedule delivery" step......... SC contacted me via text last week, but just to say they are "expecting my truck any day now and to contact my guide with any questions"..... crickets since then.

I even went by the Phoenix SC to inquire and all they could tell me is my truck is "in transit".

I guess I'll just have two car payments this month.... and two cars on my insurance premium..... and I guess I'll just have to wait till Friday morning of every week to make my weekend plans..... And I guess I'll just have to wait until I actually HAVE my truck to list my car for sale again....... ugh.....

Just a smidge of communication... just a teensy weensy bit of clarity......man that's really all I need.

It's interesting how so many people paid for their vehicle during the 8-step process before the vehicle was actually ready to schedule delivery. I was told (cautioned actually) by both the insurance guy at Rivian as well as my guide that I probably do not want to pay for the vehicle until they tell me it is ready to schedule a delivery date. They both mentioned it at least twice. Wonder why they did not tell others...maybe people started complaining.

In the Step 7 process, it actually tells you that payment at this time is NOT required, but optional.

VIN 118XX assigned this morning after confirming config and 8 steps opening.

R1T, RB, OC, 20" Dark, power tonneau, spare

{From the signature:}
Preorder: 9/24/21 R1T
Large pack, adventure, RB/OC, 20" dark AT, power tonneau, spare tire

Guide Contact: 9/10/22
Delivered: 9/24/22 (1 year wait to the day!)
I have almost the same config, but adding the reinforced underbody seemed to have delayed my order by at least four months compared to yours. Preordered 5/2021, guide assigned 8/2022, crickets since then. Maybe Rivian knows I've made a comprehensive checklist for evaluating defects, and they're working hard to send me a perfect vehicle. :fingerscrossed:

I think they need to get around 16k R1t and R1S combined and 9k EDVs (I dont think they get to 10k on the EDVs but close) to get to 25k total production. I believe the EDVs are much easier to produce than the R1(s) and production of those really didn't start until q3. I suspect we will get around 2-2,200 EDVs with 5,500 R1(s). Around 7500-7900 total production for q3. they need 16k total for two quarters to hit 25k. that would leave around 9k for q4. there is nothing glaring in the R1T numbers that show me they won't hit 25k. 12k vin number on the R1T (though it looks like they are filling in those numbers, its not completely linear) and 600 vin for R1S is actually good numbers if they need to get to 16k-ish vin. we will find out more next week- RJ will probably tweet out the results of q3 on Oct 4-6th like last q, 3 days after the end of the quarter. honestly I think they are pumping out more EDVs than we know since they are much more simpler to make and they probably make a better margin on them at this point.

Rivian needs to pump out a consumer version of their BEV short wheelbase van.
