Anyone with OC deliveries: Do you expect any issues keeping those seats clean? I heard the material is easy clean, but some concerns over the perforations for the ventilated seats.

This is coming from a known spiller of coffee

I haven’t done anything to protect mine and have had multiple road trips and guest ride ins without any issues. That being said there is a strange draw for people to want to touch the nice white suede roof. They get barked at by me I don’t touch the roof I love the way it looks but yes I’m sure it’s not going to hold up to everyone touching it. My boss has a very nice Benz with a very similar sued and it’s all black colored around where he grabs the seat belt.

I really wish they had used the dark headliner with the OC seats.

I had a similar color in my MDX years ago. It’s not that hard to keep clean on the surface.

Your problem is the perforation. Coffee is going to make it into the holes and, regardless of color, you’re going to get a Starbucks-themed truck in no time.

I hadn't thought of the headliner. I like the look more of OC, but really not sure if I can trust myself to maintain it.

Yeah I agree. I can see myself scuffing that area up a lot more. It does brighten the interior more, but not sure if that is really a good thing. The seats could really pop if the headliner was black

I'm thinking black mountain is just going to be more suited for me. I was hoping someone would say the perforations are easy to clean too, but was expecting this to not be the case

I totally hear you. I went back and forth on OC and BM. My wife was really into OC, so that’s what pushed me over the edge. I have exactly the same reservations as you do - dog, paddleboard, surfing, mountain biking … we treat our trucks ”disgusting dirty humans and toy transport” vehicles. Should be interesting.

I love how OC looks and have had my reservation specc'd that way since forever. At the last minute I switched to BM just because while I can probably deal with perforations in the front, I thought about how many times my kids have spilled something in the back of the old truck. It's less of a problem now since they're a little older, and the last year with a tesla things were pretty much off limits in the back, but I figured probably better to play it safer.

I still really want OC, but everybody else liked BM and I still like it enough.

Don’t get me wrong I love the white headliner and am kinda sad we didn’t get the lighter wood as well. I just know with a three month old I will fighting to make sure it stays clean.

I went changed configuration several times between Black Mountain and Ocean Coast during the year I waited for my truck. Settled on OC due to the unshaded glass roof and fact that it looks more like a light gray than white. I also prefer the dark wood with OC to the original light ash. I love it so far, but my kids are adults now and our dog has a full seat protection hammock in the back (and I don't spill my coffee that much).

The BM interior really is a dark gray and would have been an acceptable choice for me. I just don't like how hot a dark interior gets in the summer sun and how it shows dust.

Unshaded glas roof??? Is that a thing? So BM has a darkened glass roof but OC not? If so this is the first I’ve heard of it!

Sorry for the misunderstanding. OC has the same tinted roof glass as BM, but my comment refers to the fact that there is no sun-shade to help further reduce IR radiation in the summer. Dark upholstery definitely gets hotter that light in my experience.

Ah I see what I did there. Sorry, the misunderstanding was mine
