Is there a certain time of day the emails for the 8 step process go out or is it totally random? Just trying to curb my obsession with checking. I have Deprivian and the struggle is real.

I had a May-June deliver for my R1S that got moved to Ocr-Dec..

For people in the same situation, any movement?

I still have no Guide assigned.

I feel your pain. I do have a guide but I'm watching deliveries for people with 11/19 pre-orders get their R1S. I have a pre-order from 2/19, Launch edition, pretty delivery layout and nothing. Last I heard, "slowing down this quarter, maybe 4th quarter. Not sure how people are being chosen, but it certainly is not based on pre-order date, or seemingly any reasonably transparent process. I might be happy if it was even mildly opaque.

"We noticed some quality issues with your original vehicle that will impact your delivery timing, so we're working on matching you to another vehicle going into production. Once I have an update on your new vehicle, I'll be sure to reach out. In the meantime, we've put a pause on your digital checklist, and you can resume when your new vehicle is fully built."

I am not sure how far this will set me back in my delivery date. With my very early pre-order date (11/28/18) I was told I would be in the first few hundred deliveries, now who knows!! I did receive my wall charger last week! I wish I would have written down my VIN before it disappeared.

I also was told that I would be an early delivery. That appears to have been from a guide not fully informed of what the real process is for determining delivery. If there is a process. It sounds like the deliveries opened up to essentially being bargained over internally based on who knows what decision factors. I'm in California, maybe that's too far from there home, even though their headquarters is a stones throw from me. Pre-order 2/3/2019

Had exact same explanation from guide, but they were able to find a replacement vehicle immediately

That timing bodes well for other folks who received notices to complete the 8 steps around that time and who have a VIN not too different from yours. Congrats on the progress (and patience).

Nice! That is reassuring. 900's VIN, bay area. I think the trains go through so cal first and then make their way up to the S SF center (based on truck deliveries). Hopefully this means that the train makes it here next week for a delivery soon here as well. congrats!

Decided to sneak a peak at the Costa Mesa Service Center (only about 3 miles from my office), to see if my Rivian R1S FG, BM, 22 Bright was in the parking lot. There were a ton of people hanging around, so I didn't get much time there. There were probably at least 20 R1T's and at least 5 R1S's outside. Looked like a LG R1S was getting delivered to someone. Saw an R1S with my exact specs, so decided to park and check out the VIN. Got headed off by a Rivian employee, who was really nice. The one in the parking lot belongs to Rivian, but he said mine is probably inside. Gonna have to be patient for a few more days.
