Honestly not sure. I reported a ton of nitpicks. Maybe death by a thousand cuts. Maybe the suspension/CV axle issues. They did say it's headed to a body shop this week to address the panel fitment issues. To their credit they provided two-way flatbed, a rental for the first two weeks, then sent me their loaner R1T two weeks ago. Having an equivalent vehicle softens the blow quite a bit.

Wow- pretty good service all being said, minus the obvious timing issue.

Anyone figured out how to change the charging percentage in the app yet? My app is running 17.1, the update states it works at 18 and above, but 18 is not available in the App Store.

I just checked and the 1.8.0 updated app is not released yet on iOS or Android. So still can't control the charging from the app (really looking forward to that) or turn the gear guard recording on or off.

Hope that comes out soon. A few times I am lying in bed and realize I need to go to LA in the morning. So I have to go downstairs, get in the truck and change the percentage of charge...

Want to see a lot more controls in the app. Oh and freaking driving cams!!!!

It's possible that the riddle is about the update itself, not an Easter egg. The "surprises under the gear that can't be stowed" are the new features within the Settings app.

I got the notification this morning. Going to update shortly. Looks like a nice list of improvements. I’m still waiting for loading mode though. Front up and back down for getting cargo in and out of the bed. Seems easy in my mind, but there’s prob more to it.

Using history as a guide, how long does it take for Rivian to release updates to the entire fleet, once they start?

Update done last night....kneel is excellent! The ingress on the Rivian is poorly designed for people over 6' tall, which requires and interesting body maneuver to avoid hitting your head...kneel solved it.......now get the APP to allow us control over charging parameters!!
