We'll see how it goes. Today my Rivian home charger (FOR MY MAX) just arrived and after it is installed my Honda Ridgeline will look at it mournfully installed just a few feet away until the max arrives.

by delaying the max pack to fulfill LE they are not delivering to people paying 100k or more for a truck.

I just switched from the R1T max pack 2024 estimate to an R1S (pre-March pricing). No idea when mine will be (hoping for mid '23). FWIW, when I was briefly switched to the R1T large, I have an Nov-Dec '22 delivery. Pre-order date around fall '21.

Max pack does not exist as far as we know. We do know R1S and R1Ts do exist, and they are shipping them...

You also can get near that price (over?) with current shipping products....

Maybe the delay is a sign from above to stay the hell away from Rivian.......With all of the recent problems it is a real possibility that Rivian is heading for insolvency. May just be saving us from making a huge purchase that ends up being worthless a la Fisker Karma, or Saturn. going to keep my R1t and R1S pre-orders until the resale price falls below the purchase price (which if they keep this up won't be long). Thinking that at this point my day 1 cybertruck reservation will get delivered before my Rivian. With this type of customer sentiment I think if offered a decent alternative many reservation holders will start jumping ship. Such a shame. Great product, completely incompetent business plan.

Mine wasn't delayed, it was actually pushed up so not bad news for everyone. It's clear the T is being prioritized over the S at this point, but not sure what people have been expecting as it seems a ton of people who have ordered after people like myself are expecting quicker delivery dates. Some people have been waiting for 3-4 years.

My bet in addition to outlined reasons affecting delivery is they will work in some later orders ahead to help financial results. I also think they are now trying to”under promise, over deliver” since they hired the new production guru. I’m still ok with my situation as we are building a new, omg how much a square foot, house. Also, more time to get kinks worked out. My son wants to buy my Model 3, so I may end up selling and just driving my 10 yo Ford f150 with zero options pu. All is well.

Im in Austin, signed the binding agreement, my date was pushed up not back. I cancelled my original order from 2019 because of a job loss, then reordered in 2021. No idea if that had anything to do with my new window. I too will keep the order regardless, since its the original pricing. At this point if the truck comes in the timeline they are promising I might keep and drive it. I really expected my date to be 2024.

I would be really interested to know how many new pre-orders they are getting. With all this bad Press and delays I'm betting the pool of new reservations is shrinking fast.

Is your delivery address Jackson, WY? Seems like you are about as far from a SC as I am (and months after me on order date) but you have a delivery window. My email says they don't have a service center near me so I am "Processing".

I've gone from July-Sep, to Oct-Dec, and now Feb-Mar.

We also have a LE LG/FE R1S, but with 21" wheels. Ordered MARCH 2019, pushed from April/May to October/December to February/March. Is Rivian hoping I'll die before delivery to avoid giving me original pricing?
