Hey y’all,

went to change a tire today and am unable to get the vehicle to lift off the ground with a standard floor Jack. It appears that the tire change mode is not engaging.

I’ve tried both software resets as well as multiple ride height adjustment resets to no avail. Checking to see if anyone else with the 43.02 update has had issues.

just changed another tire a month ago without issue

Doesn't tire change mode just stop the suspension from adjusting while you change the tire? The wheel would still droop till it bottoms out as it gets jacked off the ground

yes, if it’s not functioning then you just lift the suspension which maxes out a standard floor Jack before the tire leaves the ground.

Let me rephrase my post.

Tire change mode just stops the truck from auto adjusting the suspension. You still have to max out the suspension droop with the jack to get the tire off the ground.

Is that not how all air suspension works? I had to put an extra block on my 3 ton floor jack for the rear wheels but didn't for the front. I don't think Rivian has anything that could prevent it from topping out the suspension when lifted.
