Same here. I can only speculate that it is the lowest margin R1S to build, so they pushed it the furthest which is complete BS.
Imagine buying airline tickets and the airline pushes out your reservation because they can make more on selling tickets to those that ordered more recently.
I thought that would be the case, too. But, if GW orders are mostly in 2023 (probably late 2023), then there must be something else in play.

I've got 12/2018 reservation and low order # 4400. Launch Edition no special configurations and no changes. My LA Silver has been pushed yet again to March 2023. I think this is the 5th or 6th delay. My guide just uses boiler-plate responses as to why: "Covid supply chain." I am convinced that is NOT the case

At least it’s good to hear you’re in a March ā€˜23 batch. Feels like it’s one of very few for LA Silver. Still sucks, but with a 2018 preorder, you should definitely be ahead of many of us. Here’s hoping they deliver on that date.

EDIT for typos.

Such a smart move to go with the LE. What else is in your config?
Please post some pics for the rest of us when you get it.

I'm LA silver R1S. I live in NM where they are no longer delivering vehicles anytime soon ("processing estimate"). Jan 2022 preorder. Looking at getting a 4Runner to hold me over till Rivian gets their sh1t together.

Just curiuos if any of us that were told our delivery estimates would be flagged for another review have heard anything.

I called CS 2x, both times they said it would be flagged. The second time I called they didn't have any idea if my order was reviewed after the first flag.

So I am concluding that Rivian continues to have spite towards LAS R1S orders, or this is the new "go away" line from CS. But if any of you did get an update, then I would be happy to scrap that.

I think when he mentioned no time soon he was referring to delivery in his area not la silver

Feb. 2022 order. R1S, LA Silver, O.C. Interior and quad motor obviously. Deliv. window is now officially ā€œJan-Dec 2024.ā€
Narrows it down nicely, don’t it?

For me, it is 2024, which isn't much different. It doesn't sound as if anyone with a flagged account got an updated window.

Interesting thread. Was at the factory twice this week and I feel like 75% of the vehicles rolling off the line were LA Silver.

I called CS again a while back and was told they didn’t know what I meant by ā€˜flagged’ and not to expect any updates until after the quarterly re-estimate window (next one in Jan). Honestly, like most CS organizations, it feels a lot like it depends more on WHO you get rather than WHAT is really happening. Inconsistent and illogical ā€˜answers’ are par for the course and ā€˜I’m afraid we don’t have that information’ is the usual fallback.

I decided to just sit tight through the holidays and see what happens. Sucks to be idle, but I’m going to go stir crazy trying to repeatedly call and hope I get someone actually in the know and willing to lift a finger to figure it out.

That makes me think that the Flagged thing never really occured, even though twice I was told by a CS rep that they would flag my account for an additional review. The only qualifier ever added was that it had to be an early order, and mine is a 10/20 order so anything earlier for sure should be flagged upon request (if they really do this).

I agree with your comments about CS in general. It really depends on the person you get, and I imagine Rivian's CS department is like many others where turnover is high.

Twice in one week? Do you work there?
Regardless, were they R1T's or R1S? The R1S LE LA Silver looks like will have some 2023 deliveries, but not ADV

Don't work there ... dropped off and picked up my R1T at the service center. Majority were R1S but there were definitely a good number of R1Ts rolling off the line as well.
