Updated Delivery Windows to be announced in Jan 2023 (per Rivian Customer Service 12/14/22)

In a conversation with customer service today, I was told that we will be getting new delivery windows in January 2023.

Ordered in summer of 2021 and I am willing to bet mine will still say "Processing" in January. I guess they don't want to sell trucks at the old price. Honestly I will be surprised if I see mine next year. Maybe Toyota will actually build a EV Hilux and

and even if it didnt say "by the end" of January, only a fool at this point would expect any day other than January 31!!

Mine was Q4 2022 but then got "updated" to "processing estimate". My guess is that on January 31st, 2023 I will get another "update" that puts it to some similarly useless state like "processing estimate" and they will inform everyone that they will give us an update in April of 2023. As Steve Jobs long ago said "real artists ship"

Not Rivian's fault that NC won't let them sell a truck to you. I'd bet if you changed your address out of state you would have a truck soon.

I used to read every word of posts like this, so happy that I won't have to anymore, flying to Miami in the morning to pick mine up. Don't worry friends, your time will come. Hopefully the trucks will be worth it for all of us!

This is not new info. They said back in October that the windows would be updated every three months, making January the next update month.

Driving around [in my Lucid Air -- which was delivered w/o issue] yesterday and encountered 3 [different] R1Ts along the way .. VERY frustrating!

Having been put in purgatory due to lack of nearby Service Centers, yet there are a bunch of Rivians driving around my location.

Another Great reminder of what it felt like to get actual coal as a kid for Xmas (yes, I got real coal one year .. I'm sure my parents still laugh at the image of me trying to bite it thinking it was some sort of candy.. ugh)

Rivian = Scrooge and The Grinch all in one!
