Unless plans change, I’m going up to Rollins Pass on Christmas day to give Snow mode a bit more of a test. I’m not going to run the trail itself but the road leading to it will be a good test.

That's awesome. I've had mixed luck with EA, but (knock on wood) they've never left me totally unable to charge. Enjoy the truck and congratulations!Took delivery on Friday 12/23. Such an awesome truck. First EA charger experience wad good.
Do you happen to recall how many miles per hour 7.6 kw slow chargers add to your battery? ~16?The Pueblo chargers both work.

My all time average is 1.75mi/kWh so ~13mph added. I drive down in conserve mode getting 2.88mi/kWh so 22mph at that rate.Do you happen to recall how many miles per hour 7.6 kw slow chargers add to your battery? ~16?
Doing the math on my own, 7.6/11.5 max = 66%, x25 mph max per Rivian website = 16.5 miles per hour.
you will have some nice floor mats and snow tires while you wait?Ordered these today for my stock 22's so I'll have a winter and summer tire swap setup! Now I just need a truck...

Following up on this comment from Nov 2022.I ended up pulling the trigger on a ChargePoint Home Flex from this site, there is a 5% off coupon somewhere so I got it for $711 and no sales tax.

I am going to have a local installer put it in for a $1300 quote with 6 gauge copper wire and all the trimmings. I'll be able to claim the $500 XCel credit, $50 bill credit each year, and both the charger and wiring costs are fully tax deductible at 30%. Seems like a no brainer to me.
Yes, my charger is installed and although I don’t have my truck, it has been flawless on the Tesla. With the rebate as well as the tax credit, it’s pretty much a no-brainer. I don’t know why you would install the Rivian charger. The integration really isn’t that big of a deal & the ChargePoint has been great.Following up on this comment from Nov 2022.
I'm now in the same position - about to buy a Home Charger, anticipating R1T delivery in 1H23. Trying to decide between
* RIVIAN CHARGER: No Xcel rebate. $500 for me, but I don't have 2.4gHz Wifi which is nominally required. Theoretically, better support for problems, since the vehicle and the charger are sold by the same company.
* CHARGEPOINT HOME FLEX: Xcel rebate, but I have to agree to charge only at certain times of day. Unsure if it will accept my 5gHz Wifi. Unsure of Chargepoint support for Rivian problems.
@DTown3011 has your charger been installed yet? Would you (or anyone else) would like to share additional advice?
Agree, have had the ChargePoint for over a year and used it with our Mini. Have been using it with my R1S for a few weeks now and it works great. Take the rebate from Xcel…I actually got two rebates ?. I got $500 when I bought the ChargePoint (initially used it with a lower Amp 240V outlet I had for the Mini). Hardwired it three weeks ago for the Rivian and got an other $500 for the hardwire install costs…first time ever I feel like I got something good from Xcel. The rate plan is totally fine. You can occasionally charge outside of your selected times. Mine is 9pm to 6am and the rate is super low. I get between 20-24 miles/he from the ChargePoint so plenty for daily 70% or 85% charging over night.Yes, my charger is installed and although I don’t have my truck, it has been flawless on the Tesla. @DTown3011 @Ravenron @lg3103 I appreciate your feedback. I went with the Chargepoint Flex Home Charger with the NEMA 14-50 plug. (Which is backordered at chargepoint.com, but available on Amazon for more $ , via a 3rd party)
@Evan S congrats on getting a rebate for the Rivian-brand charger! I'm curious how you did this... the Xcel website seems to say that only the Chargepoint Home Flex or the Enel X Juice Box are eligible. Maybe the website changed after you used it.
