R1 Shop Access Granted!

Don't believe they've started deliveries of the vinyl dash variants yet, so those likely won't be seen in the shop for a while.

Yup, last word I received when I reached out about that was that the black dash was slated to go into production “early 23” and “maybe even sometime as early as January.”

I was willing to take a dark ash dash if all other specs were met but alas, they were not.

My guide and CS told me l, that all vinyl interior supposed to start some time in 1st half’s of 23. But they didn’t have a date.

I got access today as well and ended finding a configuration that was pretty close. The only difference was that it had the 20" AT Darks (I had brights configured, but planned to add the Black vinyl on it anyway) and no manual cover (but still has the rails so I can buy that later). Needless to say, I jumped on it ASAP and I'm now doing my 8 steps! Excited to finally pick up the truck!

I'm in Atlanta but I wanted to do a factory pickup so my guide updated my delivery address to the factory. I'm still not sure if the truck is in Normal or in ATL.

Pulled the trigger on RB with BM on the 21” out of the shop. PNW region, still had about 2 midnights, 3 glaciers, 1 forest, 1 red, and 1 yellow

I reached out to my guide and asked for it. I already have a guide since I already have an R1T. She didn't say anything about giving me access but I got an e-mail shortly after that being invited to it. If I look at my other R1T reservation instead of the R1S, there's no mention of a shop anymore.

How long did it take between guide requesting and you getting it? It’s supposedly been requested for me earlier this week, but nothing as of yet.

Less than a day. Could have just been a coincidence in timing since I changed my R1T and R1S orders around. It might have been in the system to get activated for my R1T reservation but it didn't occur until the day after I changed.

I don’t think they are all 2022. I think the one I grabbed has a 2023 VIN

Sweet……it was tough to look at all these and not pull the trigger….. I’m sure you will love it.

Still a blue w/ BM on the 21" in my shop I might pull trigger on... Curious if anyone has thoughts on glacier with the forest interior? I feel like I need to see in person

Check out the Out of Spec Reviews videos. The later ones with an R1T are of Kyle's Glacier with Forest Edge and the color is reasonably accurate.

My guide said they sent out a ton of invites today. It was super weird to have access for a day and a half and think “Wow, lots of options, I’m really gonna think this through…” Big gulps huh, welp, see you later!

There’s only 5 left to choose from. Yesterday when I first looked - lots. I feel asleep on it last night. Lol. Now the color I wanted is gone.

4 here now. Only thing I’m crossing my fingers for is a big Saturday dump since they just released so many invites. A few of the biggest ones have been on a Saturday…. Fingers crossed and stay strong for what you want, but don’t just stare at 2 possible ones like a true asshole like I did for a day and a half…
