I'll reserve my judgement once I hear of people using it after getting the thing dirty or snow covered, etc.I hope the fix for Rivian automated cover comes soon… if these guys can do it I am sure Rivian can too. Waiting for the solution. So I can take delivery this year hopefully!
Camera-based rearview was in the prototype Cybertruck, I believeSo no view out the rear window with the tonneau cover closed?
Those bed sails must create some crazy blind spots as well.
Yeah I'm sure they have a camera. Still not ideal.Camera-based rearview was in the prototype Cybertruck, I believe
If implemented correctly, camera can be superior in some ways. No head rests in the way. Better field of view. Just needs to be out of the wind trail. The Rivian rear camera gets dirty quick.Yeah I'm sure they have a camera. Still not ideal.
I have a hard time with them because looking at the display requires changing the focal distance, normal mirrors don't. If you go back and forth between vehicles with them and without them, it's frustrating. If implemented correctly, camera can be superior in some ways. No head rests in the way. Better field of view.
