Latest VIN check R1T. What is the real production rate...

I’ve read roughly 1k vehicles per week. They must have started a second assembly shift.

Was at the factory last week. They’re over 1,000/week. They told me they’re averaging hundreds per day and some days it’s around 300.

Not sure who “Edie on Facebook “ is but based on available data from members that means apparently there are 7500-8000 produced but not yet delivered? Seems odd if true

They have thousands of Amazon vans sitting on their lot. Amazon comes and gets them, Rivian doesn’t transport them. Keep in mind production totals include EDVs. Also, there were a lot of R1 vehicles at the factory last week preparing for train transport. That process takes weeks from start to finish, so I could totally believe them having a few thousand vehicles in the process of making it to delivery.

not surprising given the delivery model. it took two employees one work day to deliver my R1S.

I was told my R1T is in production mid 18K range with PN. Doesnt seem like they hit the reset at the start of the year if current builds continuing from where the NN VINs left off? Unusual that some have received low level PN VINs under 100.

MY R1T was built after New Year's Day with a PN17XXX 2023 VIN... scheduled for delivery Jan 20th.

I was told a 6-10 week turn around from start of production to delivery. So about 3 weeks in your case is really fast! Makes me hopefully for a shorter wait.

Bizarre. I wonder if one production line is working off a reset VIN and another continuing from where 2022 VINs left off. Maybe to track if specific issues are coming of a particular production line? Complete speculation.

Probably a small block point change to trucks and used that for reset.

There is only 1 line for the R1 series, the second line is for the EDVs.
