Interior Light Colors (Feedback for Rivian)

While watching the NFC Championship game, a Hyundai ad with Kevin Bacon showed an EV where the user can change the interior colors using the center console screen. It would be great to be able to do the same.

I've turned it off in my Rivian because I found the rear passenger light to be very distracting when doing shoulder checks for lane changes at night.

Those engineers are too busy putting battery modules together.... torquing suspensions....

My MINI has customizable colors for the ambient lighting. I leave it on red since that doesn't affect night vision.

That interface seems both too complicated and too boring.

I can't think of any reason to need/want a million different choices. A handful of curated options better. I'd rather be able to click "compass yellow" then have to guess which of the 1000 possible yellow choices is closest to compass.

Also picking a single color (Even if there are 1 million choices) seems very limited. Things like a Christmas theme that alternates red and green or using colors as status indicators (Green for full battery, red for empty, red for when heater is producing lots of hot air, blue for when ac is producing lots of cold air) feel a lot more fun then picking a single color.

My wife's Genesis GV60 has fully customizable interior lighting. Like a full color wheel of choices. She chose a gold/amber color. Honestly, if rivian offered the option, I'd probably still choose white.

I have RGB changeable interior lighting in my Kia Telluride and my kids love it! We don’t change it much, but it is fun that you can.
Ditto: lock/unlock sounds! There should be a library of choices and a way to upload your own.

I don't want to be Mr. Downer, but I'm guessing they're holding off on some of these types of features until they can implement a way to charge for them. I am assuming the same of the dash-cam feature, Driver+ enhancements etc.
