How long does it take for the train to make it to the west coast? And for vehicles to trickel down to San Diego?

About 3-4 weeks to get to Costa Mesa service center. Mine has been enroute since Jan 17 and my guide said it’ll arrive by coming Wednesday or Thursday in Costa Mesa.

Did you already sign you purchase agreement?
I have asked my guide if I need to wait till the R1S reaches the service center before I sign the Purchase agreement in the 8 steps. But Guide is out for a few days.

I did the first 2-3 steps, doing the financing part now.

You can complete everything including the contract.
I would wait on the final payment and insurance until you have a set delivery or pick up date.

I am getting an auto lon with some down payment, so should I complete the financing part as well?

My guide said to wait until the R1S is in CA to start on financing; I started today (2 weeks after matching with a VIN) so I could be ready.
I'm not so worried about paying a little early; I'd rather do that and have smooth sailing for delivery than try to optimize financing timing and end up delaying things again. If a worst case delay happens like if the truck falls off the last mile delivery vehicle, I'll deal with that when it comes.

My VIN was assigned on Jan 17th and y guide said it’ll arrive in CA this week. Did yours arrive? I so much want to just go ti the service center and see if my VIN is there lol
