Personally, I think I like the walnut more, but more than likely we will offer a few options on this one. Also I plan on running some steel wool on this in a few days when it drys. It will remove a lot of the sheen then.

When will this finally go on sale?
Will you offer the option to buy more than one wooden top? I could see myself buying black and oak and using the oak for finish experimentation!
(Love the black!)

@Sojhinn gotta say that this looks amazing and such a step up from OEM or other solutions on the market. Can’t wait to order.

We are going to offer a presale sometime this week. Let me talk to Wrinks and get you a good timeline. I have been producing the bases and soldering chargers already. But we do need to request the veener from our manufacturer.

Also this product requires the most hands on work to finish. PLEASE PLEASE. Be patient with us on this one. s00nish is a side hustle for both of us, and between our families and our "actual work" we do the best that we can.

Count me in. Most of us waited for [well] over a year [or two, or three] for our truck/suv. I’m sure we can be respectful of your time. Let us know when it goes on sale.

The design purposefully goes underneath the wood. There are many variances between the trucks this design gives the best clean look. If you see it in person it feels like its OEM, even those that were "team flush" including Wrinks the other half of s00nish, love the look of this.

As for shim a bracket? The base is designed to let this all sit flush with the bottom of the existing wood. I meant to make the the install video this past weekend, but the staining took longer than I expected.
Ahh gotcha. Yeah that does seem like the best thing you could’ve done to make this work for all of us. Good ‘ol Rivian, no two trucks the same lol.

Thanks again. Phenomenal work, very grateful!

Quick question: Would exposed pucks be an option people want?

Personally, I don’t see a reason to have them exposed. The phones do a great job of locking in as you move the phone around the puck.

Exposed pucks not wanted unless it's absolutely necessary.

Agree - hidden is better unless there's a significant difference in charging rate or MagSafe stability.

As long as the phones charge and are easy to fix into place (and hold while driving), I prefer the pucks hidden.

Ok, I was assuming the same as all of you. Maglock works well through the veneer. Charging: Seems to be working similarly as exposed.
