Matchbox Rivian R1T is Released!

Where'd you get one in Seattle area?

That evil place called Amazon. It was as close as I've come to the real thing.

Rivian shows up on the back of a big truck. Guy offloads it and puts it in my driveway. I was trying to sync my phone to it for an hour.

I haven't had any luck finding any around town so I also resorted to eBay. Managed to find one that was a lot of 2 so now I can keep one in the packaging.

My wife and I have been stopping at every Matchbox retailer in our town at least once a week to try to find them for our kids. No luck yet, but tons of other EVs that they have added to their collection, ID.4, mach-e, e-tron, Lightning, Model Y, Lucid, Renault Megane, and I'm sure I am missing a few.

I'm disappointed it doesn't have Rivian wheels on it.

I'm disappointed that the Matchbox has nicer wheels than Rivian offers. Honestly, those wheels look great.

My mom just found one at Family Dollar in Dillonvale/Cincinnati. $1.25
I told her to buy as many as she can find and send them to me in San Diego. Happy to donate them to fellow Rivian owners if she can find any more.

No, none of the others have exhaust pipes. They all seem to be representative of the actual vehicle, mostly flat with some "bumps" around the suspension area (the Lightning has the huge control arms molded in).
