R1S Insurance in CA!!!!

I just got my 6 month renewal from State Farm and it went up nearly 20%!!
Time to look at other options. They are now asking over $2k per year! It is also now 20% more than my R1T. I suppose I can make an educated guess as to what that renewal will be.

You should check out Connect by AmFAM (Costco insurance). My Lucid Air is about $400/6mo with $500 coll / $100 comp ... I plan on sticking with them for my R1S when it eventually gets here in Q4

I dont think it works that way, its Rivian insurance underwritten by Nationwide, so it has Rivian specific benefits, that said im not sure.. I would reach out to Rivian insurance through the Rivian website and see what they say.

I ask because when I tried to generate a Rivian quote it recognized me as a Nationwide policy holder and didn’t let me move forward. I wasn’t sure if anyone else had the same experience.

I have Nationwide through Rivian here in CA. It was just renewed for around $1500 a year for Max coverage with glass replacement. Low miles at 6k per year though. Also multicar discount.

can't say because I've never had a claim event (fingers-crossed)

$1129.12 with Nationwide with the multiple policy discount. My wife's 2022 Model S is $1800.
